COLCHESTER United fans should keep a close eye on the weather before setting out for Swindon today.
No pitch inspection had been planned, as of late yesterday afternoon, and club officials are thought to be confident the game can go ahead.
Yesterday was a bright, sunny day in Wiltshire.
However, with yet more rain forecast today, there is a chance the situation could change.
The wet weather has caused havoc with this week’s football fixtures.
And the chaos has not just been restricted to teams playing further down the pyramid.
Wednesday’s Barclays Premier League games between Manchester City and Sunderland and Everton and Crystal Palace were both postponed, as a result of the adverse weather conditions.
