Colchester United will stage a pitch inspection at 8.30am tomorrow to see whether or not their home game against Rotherham United will go ahead.
Brendan Malone, who is due to referee the League One clash, will inspect the Weston Homes Community Stadium surface, with the U's hoping to avoid another postponement.
Colchester have covered their pitch with waterproof sheets in a bid to boost the chances of the game going ahead and are doing everything they can to ensure the match takes place.
Joe Dunne's side have not played since beating Carlisle United 4-2, on January 18.
