STANWAY ROVERS picked up three more Thurlow Nunn League premier division points today after an exciting 3-2 victory at home to CRC.
BRANTHAM ATHLETIC also got back on the victory trail, courtesy of a 2-0 success at home to Norwich United.
However, it was a disappointing day for both FC CLACTON and HALSTEAD TOWN.
The Seasiders suffered a 3-2 defeat at home to basement boys Woodbridge Town.
In division one, Halstead went 2-0 at home to Team Bury.
The matches involving WIVENHOE TOWN, BRIGHTLINGSEA REGENT and BRAINTREE TOWN RESERVES were all postponed due to waterlogged pitches, following more rain on Friday night.
