Maldon and Tiptree were in goal-scoring mood as they saw off the challenge of visiting Wroxham 4-1.

Maldon dominated the first half of their Ryman League division one north match creating lots of chances but were finding it difficult to find the back of the net.

Joe Gardner, however, did breach the visiting defence on 29 minutes for the lead.

The home side sewed the game up at the start of the second half.

Junior Appiah made it 2-0 on 48 minutes then Bradley Vaughan added a third four minutes later.

Wroxham pulled a goal back on 62 minutes through Joseph Marsden from the penalty spot.

But Maldon had the last word when Appiah grabbed his second and Maldon’s fourth on 72 minutes.
