Dunne has high hopes for loanee Lee

Colchester United boss Joe Dunne has high hopes for loanee Elliot Lee.
West Ham United striker Lee made his Colchester debut against Shrewsbury on Tuesday night, after the teenager signed for the club on loan earlier in the day.
“Elliot played against us for West Ham in our friendly and I’ve seen him at youth and under-21 level,” added Dunne.
“He loves to score goals, he’s got a low centre of gravity and he’s strong.
“He’s enthusiastic and he jumped at the chance to come and play, which is great for a Premier League player.
“On his day he can score goals and he’s been prolific at under-21 level.
“He’s been in and around Sam’s (Allardyce) teams – we’ve thrown him in and just told him to do what he does but he’ll be better, the longer he’s in.”
Lee was brought in after Jabo Ibehre was ruled out of the trip to Shrewsbury by a hip injury.
And the U’s injury woes were extended when both Sears and Wright limped off against the Shrews.
