U's midfielder Bond joins Bristol Rovers
Colchester United midfielder Andy Bond has joined League Two side Bristol Rovers on a month's loan.
The 27-year-old has found his opportunities limited with the U's this season and is yet to start for the club in League One, in the current campaign.
Bond, who came off the bench to score Colchester's late winner in their opening-day victory at Gillingham at the start of last month, will be hoping for regular first-team football with the Pirates.
He has been snapped up by Rovers manager and former U's boss John Ward, who brought Bond to Colchester from non-league outfit Barrow in the summer of 2010 and will be reunited with ex-U's team-mate John-Joe O'Toole, at the Memorial Stadium.
