The newspaper business has moved on a bit since Cary Grant starred as hard-boiled editor Walter Burns in the 1940s.

Now we have citizen journalists ... and this is your chance to be one!

Your Gazette will soon be giving its website a brand new look, and we are seeking 30 web-only community correspondents for a We Like It Local section.

Each volunteer will represent their own small patch – anything from a couple of streets to a village.

They will upload local news stories and pictures directly to special pages on our website.
