Colchester United's game against Yeovil Town is postponed

COLCHESTER United's game at Yeovil Town on Saturday has been postponed.

The Coca-Cola League One game was called off at lunchtime today, after the Huish Park pitch was covered by snow.

It is one of a number of games all over the country to fall foul of the cold snap.

Colchester boss Aidy Boothroyd is keen for the game to be re-arranged for this Tuesday night.

However, he conceded that it might be difficult for the match to be re-arranged so quickly.

Boothroyd said: "The plan is to play the Yeovil game on the Tuesday if we can.

"We want to get the game on as soon as possible."

Never mind the Yeovil game what about next Saturday's match....how is our pitch holding up? with another bad week to come is that going to go ahead. We should have installed the under soil heating, a new ground without it is shocking and also proper covering not a few sheets of plastic.......but hey any luck Lambert will be at Burnley anyway, his odds now cut with skybet to 15-8!

Even if pitch was playable games would be off because of access problems.

Where's your Lambert gone, where's your Lambert gone.

Where's your Lambert gone, where's your Lambert gone.
