THE last major contract for completing the north Kent leg of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link (CTRL) has been awarded.
Project managers Union Railways North has awarded the £120m contract to Hochtief Norwest Holst Joint Venture.
Covering 3.5km between the southern end of the Thames Tunnel and Pepper Hill, it includes a passage under the A2 and building the shell of the international station at Ebbsfleet.
