Forty jobs could be created if plans for a new cancer therapy centre goes ahead.
Helen Rollaston Cancer Charity has submitted an application to Braintree Council to turn offices in The Street, Hatfield Peverel, into treatment rooms to provide therapies for patients.
It estimates twenty full time and part time staff will be employed at the site in the Old Bank Building and the public consultation on the proposal will run until July 7.
Under the plans the centre will be open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday and provide complimentary treatments to cancer patients.
