A 24-year-old man pleaded guilty to a string of offences following a countywide search for him.
Timothy Gell, of Braintree, appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates Court on Saturday morning and pleaded guilty to common assault, violence to secure entry, breach of a court order and one count of failing to surrender.
He was arrested on Friday after police released his picture and description the day before.
He was remanded in custody to appear at court today.
