A shop has taken part in fun-filled week of activities to raise money for charity.

As part of a scheme organised by the East of England Co-operative society, staff from Kelvedon Co-Op food shop and colleagues across the county have been fundraising for three armed forces charities.

Staff dressed up in outfits ranging from army uniform to pyjamas and took part in many activities including raffles, tombolas, cake sales, car washes and a tug-of-war.

They raised £550 which will go to Help for Heroes, SSAFA Forces Help and the Colchester Garrison Welfare to help support service personnel who have been affected by their experiences while serving overseas.
