A precinct's popular play area has been re-opened and an empty shop unit is set to be filled.
About £3,500 was spent on the play area in the Newlands Precinct, Witham, which was officially opened by mayor Barry Fleet.
A planning application has also been submitted for unit 30 of the precinct for a change of use from retail to a café.
