About 20 top bands have been lined up to play at a charity gig.
Witham will welcome a selection of mainly Essex-based bands for an all day gig at the town’s Spring Lodge Community Centre.
The festival of music, which will support the Essex Rocks Air Ambulance Charity Tour, will raise cash for Essex Air Ambulance and Witham’s Boys’ Brigade.
Dan Rankin, of organisers Open Minded Music, said: “It’s the third year we’ve done it and this year it’s all on one day.
“We’ve got a really strong line up and I’m confident it’ll be a great day.”
Last year’s event was a sell out which raised about £800.
This year the headline acts are two signed and successful Essex bands, Fei Comodo and The Morning After.
Barry Fleet, Witham mayor, has been supporting the Boys’ Brigade throughout his civic year.
He said: “The whole thing seems to have expanded rapidly. There will be 20 bands or more playing all afternoon and evening, I’m really pleased it’s going to happen.”
The gig will be held on March 20 from 2pm.
Tickets are £10.
