AN electronics company from Maldon helped guide mechanical engineering students from top UK and European universities as part of an annual student workshop event.
Staff from DC Electronics, based at the Quayside Industrial Park, in Bates Road, were on hand to assist the students, who came from as far afield as the University of Budapest.
The group are working on designing and building their own racing car as part of the annual Formula Student workshops.
DC Electronics has been manufacturing custom built electrical systems for the motorsport industry for 15 years and was one of a number of companies offering specialist advice to the students.
Managing director David Cunliffe said: “Formula Students provides an excellent opportunity for these budding motorsport professionals to gain some valuable experience, whilst benefiting from an insight into our experience in the industry.”
