ENTRIES for the annual Maldon in Bloom gardening competition have now all been received.
Judging for the event started on Monday and will continue until tomorrow.
The Maldon in Bloom presentation evening will be held at Maldon Town Hall on Tuesday.
Doors open at 6pm for a 6.30pm start.
This year’s competition theme is Food for Nature.
Town mayor Jeanette Stilts will present certificates and prizes to the various winners.
The Maldon in Bloom team will also be preparing for the Anglia in Bloom competition next month.
On Monday, July 16, Anglia in Bloom judges, Julia Smith and Joan Gibson, will be coming to Maldon.
Team of volunteers will be concentrating on checking that the route chosen for their visit is well presented including litter picking, weeding and flower bed planting.
The team hope to win gold for a fourth year running.
