A MALDON man has been convicted of drink driving following a police clampdown over Christmas.
Essex Police arrested 148 people as part of their anti-drink and drug driving campaign which ran in December.
Colin Page, 47, of Washington Road, Maldon, was among those arrested.
He was caught drink driving in Cross Road, Maldon, on December 8 shortly after 9pm.
Page has been disqualified from driving for 20 months and was fined £680. He was also ordered to pay £85 costs and a £68 victim surcharge.
