A HOSPICE have been honoured with an award at the Essex Business Excellence Awards.
Farleigh Hospice attended the City Pavilion in Dagenham for the award ceremony last week, attended by hundreds of Essex businesses.
The team were presented with the Contribution to the Community Award.
Alison Stevens, Chief Executive of Farleigh Hospice, said: "I was ecstatic and so proud when we were announced as winner! This award is a tribute of all the hard work and dedication that we, as a team, put in and also a representation of the unending love and support that our community give us. Thank you and well done to everyone.”
Sponsored by Jewson, the Contribution to the Community was a tough category with some strong competition.
Farleigh Hospice pipped their competition to the post by their ongoing commitment and dedication to patients and their families who are diagnosed by life-limiting illnesses across mid Essex.
The Hospice are continually integrating themselves within the community to find new ways to reach more people who are in need of their care and services.
