TWO community nurses have been awarded the prestigious title of Queen’s Nurses.
The charity Queen’s Nursing Institute recognised Sharon Dines and Heather Joslin for their exceptional leadership and commitment to the highest standards of care.
Sharon has been a nurse for more than 20 years and works in end of life care in mid Essex.
Heather, who qualified as a nurse in 2008, works across Maldon, the Dengie, and South Woodham Ferrers and is also involved in community urgent care services.
To become a Queen’s Nurse, nurses have to undergo a very rigorous application process providing evidence of achievements and leadership skills.
Both work for Provide and spoke of their pride at receiving the honour.
