A MUSEUM will be celebrating the beginning of the autumn season with a candlelit evening of entertainment.

The Museum of Power in Langford will be holding two evenings where their model village will be open to the public in the evenings decorated with candlelight.

This will be a family event, and will feature more than 400 candlelit lanterns.

In addition to the magical glow of the lanterns, there will also be fairies, gnomes and elves hidden within the depths of the model village.

The evenings will be held on Friday this week and on Friday October 13.

Alongside the magical village, there will be the museum’s steam pump tea room which will be open for refreshments, and allow people to warm up if the temperatures are low.

The museum hosted the candlelit village last year, and due to overwhelming popularity they have brought it back for two dates this year.

Children will be able to enjoy the magic of the model Astaria village at night and will get to spot the fairies, gnomes and elves in the shadows.

Entry for the evening will be free for everyone of any age, and there will also be wheelchair and push-chair access.

Both evenings will start at 6pm and finish at 8pm after the sun completely sets.
