A MALDON author will unveil the third book in his trilogy series at a special signing in the town.
Barrie Jaimeson, an actor, playwright and author, will be launching The Denouement - the third book in his Greg Driscoll series.
The books are set around title character Greg, an actor whose career has had mixed success.
It sees him move from London to Maldon, where much of the adventures are set, and also finds him travelling to Amsterdam, the Lake District and elsewhere in Essex.
The launch and book signing will take place at the Moot Hall in Maldon on Saturday from midday.
Barrie will be reading an excerpt from his book to give people a taste of the thrilling and humorous tales.
There will also be signed copies of any of the trilogy to buy.
Barrie has worked in theatres across the country from Edinburgh to the Old Vic in London and has appeared in several television shows including Tales of The Unexpected and Bergerac.
He is the artistic director of the Maldon Actors Company at macTheatre and has also written plays and short stories.
The Greg Driscoll trilogies are his first novels.
Admission to the event is free but the Moot Hall suggest a donation of £2 which will go towards the rebinding of an 18th century court book for display in its museum.
