THOUSANDS of copies of a new visitor guide to promote the Dengie Peninsular have been printed.
The guide called Explore the beauty of the Crouch Coast has been distributed to information centres, attractions, stakeholders and accommodation providers.
It offers information on towns and villages including Burnham, Cold Norton and Latchingdon and attractions such as Wallasea Island.
An update from the council’s economic development team said: “Project printing and production costs have been met by contributions from the Maldon, Rochford and Chelmsford City local authorities, parish councils, local businesses, and visitor sites including the RSPB.
“The document will also be available in pdf format and will be promoted as widely as possible via social media. Links to the information will also be provided on council and partner/ stakeholder web sites.”
In total 23,000 copies of the guide have been printed.
