A CHARITY quiz night is being held in memory of a man who died from leukaemia.
Lee Blowers, 34, lost his 18 month battle with the disease in December 2015.
He grew up in Latchingdon and went to the former St Peters High School in Burnham.
Lee later moved to Kensington and worked as a retoucher for fashion company Net-a-Porter in Shepherd’s Bush.
His friends have organised a charity quiz night at South Woodham Ferrers Village Hall, on Hullbridge Road, in Lee’s memory.
All money raised from the evening will go towards the Dacie Ward at Hammersmith Hospital, where Lee was treated during his illness.
The quiz will take place on March 25 and tickets are now on sale for £6 per person.
Teams can be made up of six to eight people, and a cash prize will be on offer for the winning team.
