Talk to be held on the history of smuggling on the River Blackwater
A TALK is being held on smuggling on and around the Blackwater.
The event has been organised by The Maldon Society and will feature a talk by David Newman about the history of smuggling on the Blackwater.
It will be held at the Maldon United Reform Church Hall, on Market Hill, on Thursday, February 2 at 7.45pm.
Visitors are welcome to attend with donations to The Maldon Society greatly appreciated.
