A NEW nursery has been officially opened in Danbury by the Mayor of Chelmsford.
Last week Heathcote Preparatory School, in Danbury, celebrated the opening of its newly refurbished nursery.
Parents, children and guests were excited and impressed by the revitalised space at Heathcote which offers well equipped classrooms, cosy reading corners, and plenty of colourful outdoors space.
Mrs Caroline Forgeron, Headteacher at the school, said: “What we have endeavoured to create here at Heathcote Nursery is an educational garden full of fun, exploration and discovery where children from ages two to four can grow, blossom and flower with plenty of attention and warmth.
“We aim to promote and develop a love of learning for life here. It is vital that a child’s first learning experiences are the best they can be.”
Heathcote Nursery is open Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 3.30pm with wrap around care available from 7.30am to 6pm.
