CRANES used to build turbines at Turncole wind farm will be removed tomorrow.
RES is nearing completion of the wind farm and the final two cranes are scheduled to leave the site on Friday between 2pm and 4pm.
They will be transported by the approved route through Southminster.
RES is asking residents to refrain from parking on High Street and Station Road on this date to ensure the cranes can pass through the village as quickly and safely as possible.
Tracy Scott, Project Manager for RES’ Turncole Wind Farm said: “Construction work at Turncole is progressing well with all seven turbines now fully erected. The turbines will now go through a testing period and are expected to be fully operational early next year."
As details may be subject to change due to weather conditions.
