THOUSANDS of people turned out to attend the third Warren Classic & Supercar Show at Warren Golf & Country Club, Woodham Walter.

The event, which featured a range of scintillating supercars, was held on Sunday, September 25.

More than 7,000 people came to see some of the finest and most exotic cars in the world.

Several cars on display had never been shown in the UK before, including the Best in Show winner, a stunning 1942 Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 SS Bertone Coupe, owned by Italian collector Corrado Lopresto.

The trophy was presented to Corrado’s son Ducio, who flew in from Italy especially for the event, by Formula 1 driver Jolyon Palmer and Indy Car driver Max Chilton.

There were a host of other supercars on display, including a Bugatti Veyron, Ferrari Enzo, Lamborghini Aventador and McLaren 540C.

Other attractions at the show included an air display by The Blades aerobatic team and a stunt motorcycle show.

There were also many stalls from local car dealers showcasing the best they had to offer.

The event has quickly become one of the most prestigious classic car events in the region and organisers are hopeful it will return for a fourth year in 2017.
