PRIMARY school pupils are set to hand over a cheque for more than £2,000 to Cancer Research UK.
Pupils at Latchingdon Primary School took part in a sponsored Race for Life around their school field in June.
Other activities on during the afternoon included face painting and the children were able to design their own back plates with personal messages.
The event was organised by the Latchingdon Primary School Parents, Teachers and Friends Association.
The school also had a Justgiving page to raise money as well as pupils collecting sponsorship money.
They will now hand over a £2,094.65 cheque to the charity.
Leah Payne, of the association, said: “We are really, really pleased with the result.”
