MALDON youngsters acted, sang and danced their way through classic show tunes as part of sell out summer performance.
Sixty pupils at Maldon Theatretrain took to the stage at Braintree Arts Theatre to perform songs from musicals such as Les Miserable, Evita and Mary Poppins.
The pupils had been working on the show for four months to deliver a spectacular performance last Sunday.
Director of Maldon Theatretrain, Mark Everard said: “I am thrilled with the outstanding performances that the children gave on Sunday night.
“The endless round of applause that they received was well deserved.
“Obviously we are a theatre school so to give praise to the excellent level of skill that was displayed makes sense, but I see so much more in these children, I see friendships being developed, team skills at works and more than anything I see genuine kindness towards each other.”
This year pupils at Theatretrain in Maldon have performed at Disneyland Paris and the Royal Albert Hall.
