MALDON mums have been getting fit thanks to buggy boot camps in Promenade Park.
The boot camps have been operated by Super Mamma Fitness since June 10.
The sessions have proved so popular that more classes have been added, starting this week.
The new sessions will take place on Tuesday mornings from 9.30am to 10.30am and Friday mornings from 9.30am to 10.30 am and 10.30am to 11.30am.
Councillor Ron Pratt, Chairman of the Council’s community services committee, said: “I am pleased that the sessions have been a great success and are providing those attending a fantastic fitness session, as well as a really good social experience in a welcoming environment.”
Liane Powles, from Super Mamma Fitness, said: “We are delighted to be able to offer even more buggy boot camp classes and hope to see even more people coming along to enjoy an exciting exercise class in a lovely sociable setting.
“The sessions are very reasonably priced and inclusive for parents, grandparents and of course the children who will be in there buggies for the sessions.”
David Burnham from the Maldon District Council Leisure and Sports Development Team added, “These classes additional classes give the local community even more health and wellbeing participation opportunities in a great outdoor location”
