CROWDS flocked to the annual Blackwater Country Show as the event marked its 11th year.
Visitors to the event, held in Heybridge, enjoyed a host of displays and entertainment throughout Sunday.
Activities included a dog show, birds of prey displays, hounds, heavy horses and military vehicles on display.
Skilled craftsmen and local producers were also at the show offering handmade jewellery, home and garden gifts and nautical wares.
Vintage tractors and modern country machinery were on display showing how farming has moved through the ages.
Youngsters also had plenty to enjoy with a climbing wall, have-a-go clay shooting and kayaking as well as a Viking living history village.
The show is also extremely popular for dog owners with a novelty dog show, agility course and fly ball demonstrations proving popular again.
The show, which celebrated its 10th anniversary last year, donates the money raised on the day to the Essex Air Ambulance.
