AN ONLINE boutique owner will be giving back to the community after deciding to donate clothes with imperfections to a good cause.
Hayley Stubbings, 35, of Burnham, set up She Boutique, which sells ladies and girls clothes through her website and Facebook page, last year. With some items unable to be sold due to imperfections, Hayley decided to donate them to women’s refuges.
She said: “We came up with the idea of donating to somewhere like a refuge as most of the items are what would be regarded as ‘seconds’, with mainly small marks, perhaps a bit of a pull in the thread.
"Basically anything that isn’t 100 per cent perfect and able to be sold via our everyday business but still more than too good to throw away.
“We would much rather see it donated and used for a good cause and hopefully improve someone’s situation just a tiny bit.
“Hopefully there is a cause that can make good use of the items we have.”
