Woman suffers burns after house fire in Heybridge
A WOMAN was left with burns after a fire in a house in Heybridge.
Fire crews from Maldon and Tollesbury were called to Saltcote Maltings at around 6.42pm yesterday.
The blaze in the three storey building was extinguished by 7.22pm.
The woman was left in care of the ambulance service after suffering burns to her chest.
An ambulance was sent to the scene and the woman was taken to Broomfield Hospital.
Her injuries are not thought to be life treatening.
