A mum has spoken of her shock after complaints were lodged against a Facebook picture showing her breastfeeding her newborn baby.
Tammy Watt, 26, posted a picture of her feeding eightweek-old son Ezra because she wanted to encourage other mums who have struggled to breastfeed.
But within hours of uploading the photo, she received notification from Facebook saying someone had reported it for containing nudity.
However, the next day she received a second message saying it had not violated Facebook’s community standards and would remain.
Mum-of-three Tammy, of Heywood Way, Heybridge, said: “I shared the photo because it was a beautiful moment of calm in a hectic evening and the bond with us through breastfeeding is so strong.
“Everyone posts photos of bottle feeding and that’s OK, and it’s quite upsetting when you post a photo of a baby feeding in the biologically normal way someone reports it for containing nudity.”
