It was full-steam ahead at the Museum of Power in Langford this weekend, as train enthusiasts packed the venue during its 4th Model Exhibition and Steam Day.
Model train and tramway layouts, boats, Meccano steam engines, windmills, cars and speedy Scalextric whirred into life, during the museum’s latest family-themed Sunday.
The Museum’s Lilleshall pumping engine and miniature railway, Phil Kidgell and Gary Baglow’s exhibition of Mamod model engines and David Berrington’s Pop-pop boats helped keep visitors entertained.
The event was broadcasted internationally with The Chelmsford Amateur Radio Club providing updates throughout the day.
