Dengie's very own Dr Doolittle: My pigeon thinks its a cat
The Dengie's very own Dr Doolittle has saved over 40 animals and reveals she is currently looking after a pigeon that thinks it's a cat.
Ex-St Peters School pupil Barbra May, of Southminster Road, St Lawrence, has spent seven years nursing animals back to full health in her spare time.
Her latest addition is Noah the pigeon, who appears to be exhibiting feline tendencies.
The 25-year-old ex-veterinary care assistant said: "When he's sat on my lap he really likes to be stroked.
"He sunbathes too."
