Plans to build at pub site blocked
Plans for 11 houses to be built on a pub site have been blocked.
A total of 88 objection letters were sent to Maldon District Council against the proposal for 11 homes at The Bull pub in Great Totham.
The decision to reject the outline application was made by North West Area Committee last Thursday.
The council also described the proposed layout as “cramped and contrived” extending into a “sensitive edge of settlement location which would impact negatively on the rural landscape”.
