Maldon micro pub plans in the pipeline
PLANS for a Maldon micro pub are in the pipeline.
The Mighty Oak Brewery, winner of eight national CAMRA awards, hopes to open one of Essex’s first micro pubs on the high street.
Brewery owner Mr John Boyce has applied to Maldon District Council to transform the vacant Pink Roses cafe, on 10 High Street, into an intimate tavern equipped with all ten Mighty Oak ales.
He should receive a response for his application, currently in its consultation stage, by Friday July 17.
