New youth club proves popular in Mayland
A new youth group has opened in Mayland.
Maylandsea Youth Club, run by residents, has been taking place for five weeks now.
It was set up with help from Essex County Council and has attracted 45 youngsters, aged 11 - 19.
The group meets every Thursday from 6.30pm to 9.30pm in the Lawling Park Hall, Katonia Avenue.
Admission is £1 each week and £5 membership per family, per year.
Young people can enjoy a variety of activities.
