A 25-year-old has been so touched by the plight of children after the Nepal Earthquake she is fundraising to help them.
Stephanie Smith, 25, of The Esplanade, Mayland, saw coverage of the aftermath of the earthquake on television and wanted to help.
She is fundraising for Esther Benjamin’s Trust, which is raising money for children affected and orphaned by the catastrophic earthquake.
She has collected clothes for the charity to give to children affected by the disaster and is holding a charity day on June 28 to raise money.
The event runs from 1pm-4pm, at Essex County Cricket ground, New Writtle Street, Chelmsford, CM20PG, with free entry.
