Spectators were treated to an impressive array of classic boats sailing off the Tollesbury coast.
Sailors challenged the east coast area of the Old Gaffers Association, the association for gaff rig sailing, to racing in the Leavings at Tollesbury on the early May bank holiday.
OGA secretary Sue Lewis said: “The result was a fine sight for those spectators who braved the chilly wind to watch from the shore."
Tollesbury Sailing Club ran the racing and The Kings Head in Tollesbury laid on food for all the participants.
