A 28-year-old man arrested in February on suspicion of the rape of a woman in Maldon has been rebailed for a further six weeks.
The man was arrested after a young woman was raped near the A414 underpass, between Tesco Fullbridge and Heybridge.
He has been rebailed until May 28.
