A charity which helps youngsters with mental health problems will be supported by Heybridge IT analyst Ryan Grant.
The former Plume pupils has raised funds for Place2Be by asking people to donate in exchange for him dressing up as a character of their choice and racing round London.
Ryan, who uploads the videos to YouTube, has dressed as Spiderman and characters from Money Supermarket adverts in efforts to raise money.
Ryan, 23, of Saltcote Maltings, has trained his way up to running 22 miles so far.
He said: "Everytime I get past 12 miles I wonder why I'm doing it.
"It's hard, I'm just putting my head down and doing it."
