Land off London Road could be turned into 66 homes
A developer is making a second bid to turn Maldon fields into homes- but not all residents are happy.
Linden Homes is hoping to turn the land behind houses in London Road, Maldon, into 66 homes.
The first application, for 67 homes, was refused by Maldon District Council in October because councillors considered the plans would significantly harm the landscape, put too much pressure on primary and secondary schools and included no contribution to affordable housing, health care provision and education.
