A perfectly round egg has raised an incredible £310 for charity so far.
The extremely rare egg was laid by one of Kim Broughton’s hens in Steeple Road, Latchingdon.
Fortunately, Mrs Broughton did not turn the money-spinning egg into a pancake and instead put it on ebay to raise funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
The egg has received at least 56 bids and counting.
Housewife Mrs Broughton said: “It’s unbelievable.
“I’m so pleased."
