Pub chain Wetherspoons says it is not interested in coming to Burnham
The pub chain is often keen to take over large town centre premises, but a spokesman confirmed that this was not the case with the NatWest site in Burnham.
NatWest is set to close in March.
Residents have started a petition to save the bank.
