A man has been released without charge following the death of a Heybridge woman.
Sarah Munro died of a head injury at her home in Heron Way on Sunday, August 24.
A Maldon man was arrested following the 39-year-old’s death and released without charge today.
Sarah was described as “gutsy and spirited” by those who knew her.
She moved from Leeds to the Maldon area about 17 years ago.
She was not married and is not known to have had any children, but was a familiar face to many after working at Netto, on the Bentalls shopping complex, in Heybridge, before the premises were turned into an Asda store.
