A man was sprayed with tear gas on Spital Road, Maldon
Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault where a man was sprayed with tear gas.
The incident occurred in Spital Road, Maldon on October 4 at 2.30am.
A man approached the victim and sprayed a substance, believed to be CS gas or similar, in his face, causing the victim pain.
The assailant ran off to Cherry Garden Road.
A man has been arrested and released on police bail until December 13.
