Man suffers spinal injuries in loft fall
A man suffered suspected spinal injuries after falling in his loft.
Ambulance crews were called to Beeches Road, Heybridge, at 2.45pm today to find a man suffering back and neck injuries, which meant he could not move.
Fire crews arrived at 3.20pm to help move the man safely.
An ambulance spokesman said: "Fire and ambulance crews worked together to get him out on a specialist stretcher and he was taken to Broomfield Hospital for further treatment."
