An oarsome weekend of rowing and fun-filled activities will take place this weekend.
Row4AReason is an annual charity rowing event, fun weekend which takes place in Heybridge Basin.
It will be held on Saturday and Sunday, September 13-14, with competitors rowing around the once infamous Island of Northey.
Whilst enjoying the spectacle you will also be enthralled with wonderful stalls including children’s crafts and entertainments, hand crafted local treasures, delicious food, chic clothing and of of course the local beers and grog.
A pirates of the Blackwater theme will be in evidence and the organisers encourage all competitors and visitors to join in the fun and frolics with eye patches a minimum requirement.... ooww arrr!
The race will start at 2.45pm.
